There is good news for all government employees working in Amaravati, who do not possess a house in Andhra Pradesh (AP). Expressing his concern for the welfare of the government employees in the state, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has announced his intention to ensure that all of them receive housing facility. He spoke to the collectors, nodal officers, and political leaders who had been entrusted with the work of zeroing on the land required to build apartments for government staff.
The housing facility will benefit the over nine thousand government employees at Amaravati. In February 2017, Naidu had revealed that 150 to 200 acres had been identified for the purpose of employees’ houses, and the cost was to be deducted from the salaries of the employees in convenient instalments.
Emphasising that the welfare of the people is of utmost importance to the government, Naidu promised wholehearted support to the development of Amravati as the greenfield capital city of the stat and all those who had decided to shift here from Hyderabad. He has also directed the relevant authorities to solve all the issues pertaining to ration card, pension and housing scheme.
