National HRD Network (NHRDN)—the Indian association of professionals working to promote the human resource development movement and further building on the capabilities of human resource professionals—has elected a new executive committee for the Delhi & NCR Chapter, for 2025-27. While Salil Lal has been picked for the role of president, Dr Pradyumna Pandey will be vice president and Vir Bharat will serve as secretaryd. Dheeraj Modi has been elected treasurer.

Salil Lal has three decades of experience in human resources behind him, and is presently the CHRO, Maruti Suzuki India, where his association has crossed over 13 years. He is looking forward to “building a chapter where learning is practical, networks are purposeful and every HR professional feels supported and heard”.

Dr Pradyumna Pandey is presently the chairman of ISAB Greater Noida and chief executive officer, PromediExcel Learning. He is on the advisory board of EKAANT, a people-first platform for HR leaders, and managing partner, Talent Insta. He is “humbled and deeply honoured” on being elected VP of NHRDN’s Delhi and NCR chapter.

Vir Bharat has been associated with Yamaha Motor Solutions (YMSLI) since 2006 and is presently head HR business partner. He is also Professor of Practice (Honorary), KIIT University. Calling this appointment “not just my win, but our win,” Bharat is gearing up to “drive technology-enabled transformation  and enhance the resilience, capability and capacity of the NHRDN Delhi & NCR Chapter in line with the larger purpose of building India’s HR strength”.

Dheeraj Modi, head-talent acquisition-South East Asia, Oceania and India, Ericsson, sees this appointment as “an opportunity to contribute back to the NHRD community and create meaningful impact together”.

HRKatha congratulates the members of the new Executive Commitee of the Delhi & NCR chapter and wishes them all the luck!
