The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has opened registration for the post of assistant director (Law) in Group-B Service (ADL). The candidates who are interested in applying for the job can go to the official OPSC website, https://www.opsc.gov.in/ to register and fill in their details before the deadline, which is 24 December, 2021.
There are a total of 80 vacancies for the role of assistant director (Law) in Group-B. The candidates from General Category are eligible for only 35 posts, while 10 posts are available for the socially and economically backward category. About 15 posts are reserved for those hailing from scheduled castes (SC), and 15 are locked for the candidates from scheduled tribes (ST). The fee should be paid via debit card/credit card or in any other manner highlighted by the gateway of the Odisha Government.
The candidates are advised to download a hardcopy of the application, since it would be essential to present it during the examination. All academic and personal details furnished by the candidates should be true. Any case of fake credentials or fraud will be disqualified.
The assistant director (law) examination will involves a written test of 360 marks, a skill test in computer application (practical) of 40 marks and viva voce of 50 marks. The candidates will be required to appear for the examination at Cuttack or Bhubaneswar, and will be duly informed about the venue.
