    Rajasthan to invest Rs 71,486.4 Cr. to create employment for 26,000

    With approvals being granted to investments in projects worth Rs 71,486 crore, the state of Rajasthan is all set to create 26,000 jobs.

    Rajasthan’s friendly industrial policy has attracted big names including, Hero Electric Vehicles, Honda Cars, Saint Gobain, Borosil, Okaya, Krish Pharma, Lenskart, Renew, HPCL Mittal, Ceramax Granito, whose projects have been given the green signal. This will no doubt provide employment to thousands in the State.

    Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also asked that the feasibility of establishing a ceramic hub in Bikaner be studied, considering the raw material the region has to offer. The feasibility of setting up a gas grid in the region will also be looked into.

    With several proposals being given the nod, job opportunities will emerge in the areas of agro processing, energy, engineering, automotive, textile, pharma, glass & ceramics, as well as cement.

    The roadshows that were conducted across the country, as part of the Invest Rajasthan Summit have clearly received an encouraging response from investors, corporates, industrialists and entrepreneurs.

    The state is surely moving towards strengthening industrial development

    The state government has also given its approval to a revised amount of Rs 672.5 crore to set up the Rajiv Gandhi Fintech Digital Institute in Jodhpur. The Institute will come up in over 20 acres of land in Jodhpur. In the budget for the year 2021-22, an allocation of Rs 400 crore was made to establish this Fintech Digital Institute.
