The private equity and venture capital firm provides uniquely-tailored financial assistance to bootstrapped and growing technology companies and their founders to achieve their goals.

RecruiterBox, the Bengaluru-based startup that provides applicant tracking systems has been acquired by PE investor, Turn/River.

Turn/River provides capital uniquely tailored to help bootstrapped, growing, technology companies and their founders achieve their goals. Its other HR products include Trakstar, a global performance management company that provides performance appraisal software to help organisations manage feedback, goals and reviews; and Reviewsnap, an all-in-one performance management system that manages performance reviews, 360 degree feedback, compensation dashboard and learning content integration.

RecruiterBox will also be part of the same kitty now, under the umbrella of Applied Training Systems Inc. (ATSI).

It has been an undisclosed cash deal and every member of the team will receive stock options in the new combined entity.

For RecruiterBox, 70 per cent of its clientele is from the US. It offers a very simple proposition to its clients— a faster and easier way to get through a pile of resumes. It helps them screen, interview, and make hiring decisions faster, and all in one place.

The Company was founded in 2011 by Raj Sheth, Raghuveer Kancherla and Girish Redekar. Both Kancherla and Redekar are graduates from IIT Chennai, while Sheth is based out of the US.

Sheth worked with Dell EMC for close to three years during the early part of his career before turning an entrepreneur. Before delving into RecruiterBox, Seth had attempted two startups — one was a classified portal similar to Olx and another was a real-time engine for jewellery, similar to Blue Nile in the US, and both of them had failed.

With RecruiterBox, he has struck gold.

Kancherla worked with ZS associates and Genpact for close to three years before co-founding RecruiterBox. Redekar also worked with ZS Associates but had moved to HSBC Card services for two years, before being part of RecruiterBox.
