Airmeet’s Meena Kumari R joins Hiver as CPO

Hiver, a customer-service platform designed for Google workspace, has hired Meena Kumari R as its new chief people officer.

In this assignment, Kumari will play a crucial role in expanding the global workforce of Hiver and strengthening the Company’s leadership team.

Prior to this, Kumari was the senior director – HR at Airmeet, a virtual events solution platform. She spent two years with the firm, where she joined as director – HR. In this role, Kumari was the global head of HR for the firm. She developed hiring strategies to attract the best talent, effectively structured the performance and rewards programmme to retain top talent for a fully virtual and remote organisation.

Kumari started her career with Consero Solutions as an HR specialists, in the finance as a service (FaaS) sector. After spending more than four years with the firm, she moved on to join CorEl Technologies, a system engineering and technology firm, where she played an HR generalist as the assistant HR manager. There again, she spent more than four years.

Her next stop was Capillary Technologies, a SaaS-based solutions company for retailers and brands. She joined as a senior HRBP and later was promoted as the head of HRBP, people practices, for SEA, EMEA and China.

Kumari has also spent a year at Circles.Life, a technology-based firm in the telecommunication sector, as the people and culture lead.

Known for her expertise in areas such as building and developing a fully remote and globally distributed team, Kumari is also hailed as a digital transformation champion. In her previous stints, she has been instrumental in creating a culture of collaboration, and implementing change to achieve workforce excellence.
