    Vishal Dhingra is now HR director-South Asia, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.

    Dhingra has been with Goodyear since 2020 with his most recent designation being HR director-ASEANZ, based out of Singapore

    Vishal Dhingra has been asked to play director HR – South Asia at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Till now, Dhingra was serving as HR director-ASEANZ, working out of Singapore.

    Dhingra’s association with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company goes back to July of 2020 when he joined as human resources director-India. For over three and a half years he worked out of Delhi till he was elevated to HR director-ASEAN and sent to Singapore.

    Dhingra began his professional journey with BILT, in 2000. He joined as management trainee and by the time he moved in 2004, he had become deputy manager-HR.

    From February of 2004 to April of 2007, Dhingra was with Eicher Tractors, first as plant HR head in Bhopal and then in a similar capacity in Parwanoo.

    May of 2007 saw Vishal Dhingra joining GSK as site HR lead. For the next seven years, he ensured smooth ER and talent management in order to facilitate fulfilling of customer order by Site. He relocated to Gurgaon in 2014 when he was elevated to general manager-employee relations, GSK Consumer Healthcare India. Over two years into this role, he was made HR business partner R&D and global support functions.

    He switched to PepsiCo in February of 2018, taking up the role of HR director (supply chain). Less than a year and a half later, he was promoted to HR director (India supply chain) and ER lead Asia, Middle East and North Africa. By April of 2020 he was promoted to HR director (India supply chain) and ER lead Africa, Middle East and South Asia.

    It was in July of 2020 that The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company roped him in for the role of HR director-India.
    Backed by 25 years of experience, Dhingra’s latest appointment was recommended by Goodyear India’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee. He will be tasked with strengthening Goodyear India’s HR function and furthering growth initiatives in the South Asia region.
