Alpesh Jain has been appointed as chief technology officer, The Sleep Company. He moves after an association of three years and nine months, from The Good Glamm Group where his last designation was vice president.

Jain, who holds a BE in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, began his professional journey as a software programmer with Infinity Technologies. He then worked as a senior developer at Brandsite for a short while before joining INNsight Hospitality Group, as lead developer, INNsight Interactive, in 2009.

Jain’s next stop was PricePaaji.com, as technical lead, in September 2011. For the next two years he was responsible for the complete product from the ground up, involved in product development in this organisation from day one itself. Part of all important technical decisions and future planning, he built a tech team of around 25+ people including developers, testers and SEO.

September of 2012 saw Alpesh Jain taking on the role of technology lead, Topwheelz Automotive, MotorExpert. In addition to being involved in business discussions, requirements analysis and future planning, he designed and implemented cloud infrastructure there till April of 2016.

His association with MyGlamm (Good Glamm Group) began in May 2016, as technology architect. Over four and a half years later, he was elevated to associate vice president.

In September 2021, he was made associate vice president, The Good Glamm Group. This role was witness to Jain orchestrating comprehensive technology strategies to drive business growth and operational excellence for over a year. He was promoted to vice president in January 2023.

In his new role at The Sleep Company, the comfort-tech firm, Jain will lead the company’s technology vision, accelerate digital transformation and develop scalable, data-driven solutions to create smarter, faster and more seamless experiences for customers.

Jain believes, “Technology should feel invisible, it should quietly improve your life and I can’t think of a more meaningful way to do that than by helping people sleep better.”

Meanwhile, Priyanka Salot, co- founder, The Sleep Company is confident that “his vast experience and innovative mindset align perfectly with our mission to redefine comfort through technology. Alpesh will play a key role as we continue to expand our footprint and deepen our connection with consumers.”
