Guidewire Software, the property and casualty insurance company has appointed Sharon Narang as its people leader for India and APAC product development, signalling a strengthened commitment to talent strategy and organisational culture as the enterprise software firm expands across the region.
Based in Bengaluru, Narang will collaborate with Guidewire’s regional leadership teams to build a modern talent strategy aimed at driving capability growth, workforce engagement, and career development across its product teams.
The announcement was shared by Mohammed Anzy, vice president and managing director for Guidewire India.
She joins Guidewire following a five-and-a-half-year tenure at Wibmo, a PayU-owned digital payments company under the Prosus Group. Serving as the head of human resources from January 2021 to June 2026, she oversaw talent development, performance optimisation, and culture integration across India, the Asia-Pacific region, and MEA.
Prior to Wibmo, Narang spent five years at Flipkart from September 2014 to September 2019, where she managed HR operations for core engineering and product divisions. From June 2018 to September 2019, as head HR business partner for eKart Tech and the Group CFO organisation, she helped lead the cultural and policy integration following Walmart’s acquisition of Flipkart and spearheaded a diversity charter for PAN India teams.
Her earlier professional career includes serving as senior HR business partner at Deloitte India from August 2011 to August 2014. She was with Microsoft as an organisation capability building specialist from May 2008 to August 2011. Earlier, she worked as a team lead for talent acquisition at e4e from 2007 to 2008.She started her career as an HR executive at Accenture from 2006 to June 2007.
