BVC Logistics has recruited HR veteran, Bobby Joseph, as president-HR. Joseph, who was earlier director-HR in a leading HR consulting firm, comes with over 25 years of experience in logistics, hospitality, infrastructure, and BPOs. He has successfully led the HR practice for organisations with thousands of employees.
Known as a thought leader in the HR space, Joseph has transformed cultures at organisations, such as Larsen & Toubro, Transworld Group, BJN Hotels, Writer Corporation & Brinks.
Joseph’s knowledge and experience in the HR & talent acquisition space will help BVC Logistics move forward on its path to achieving its vision.
He himself is excited at the opportunity to play an active part in the Company’s continued success and development. He will also look at partnerships with NGOs and other non-profitable organisations, to support LGBT & transgender communities, in an endeavor to give back to the society. He plans to ensure that the HR discards its traditional transactional role and plays a more strategic role in the business through people analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and other interventions. Joseph is all set to make BVC Logistics a ‘preferred employer of choice’ by adopting the right HR programmes.
Working with more than 9000 clients from across India, BVC Logistics handles the logistics requirements of over 40 per cent of the country’s domestic trade of diamond and jewellery.
Among other services, it provides solutions ranging from e-commerce logistics to exhibition management and B2B shipping and vaulting.
