CapGrid onboards Ruchi Rai Arora as head – HR & admin

CapGrid has onboarded Ruchi Rai as head – HR and admin. In this new role, she will manage CapGrid’s strategy and performance culture, policies, processes, talent hiring, people development and retention.

Rai began her HR journey with Bridgestone, where she served as assistant manager – HR and admin, from 2003 to 2005. Her responsibilities included manpower planning and managerial recruitment, along with staffing, interviews, on-boarding, contract negotiations and induction programmes.

She joined Maruti Suzuki as deputy manager (HR) in 2005, for a period of four years, based out of Gurugram. Her next stop was InLogistics, where she served as head – HR and admin from 2009 to 2011. There, she lead the HR function for India operations in an HR generalist role, and reported to the CEO, India. This role exposed her to a startup business and associated challenges.

In 2011, she joined Louis Dreyfus as head – HR and admin. For over two years, she successfully spearheaded HR for the Company’s India operations, looking after the entire HR gamut.

The year 2018 saw her taking up a short stint at Archetype as head – HR, admin and internal communication. She drove HR strategy for employee mapping and mobility. She also looked after mass-level hiring, policies, performance management, culture, succession planning, administration and internal communication.

At CapGrid, this alumna of the Institute of Management Studies will actively participate in “this growth journey and hiring spree”, helping to expand the Company’s “reach through more locations and spaces PAN India and beyond,” says Arora on LinkedIn.
