Cushman & Wakefield, India-based real estate services firm, has named Deepti Kapoor as executive director, HR. In the new role, Kapoor will be based out of Gurgaon and will lead the efforts in shaping and executing strategies, policies, and practices that align with the company’s HR goals.

Backed with over two decades of experience in strategic HR, her expertise lies in building high performance teams within the organisation. Throughout her successful career, Kapoor has worked with notable companies including ING Vyasa Bank, HT Media, Aircel, Grand Hyatt, and has even operated her own HR consulting firm.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Kapoor was leading talent management and internal mobility at Max Life Insurance. Moreover, Kapoor is a strong advocate of DE&I and will also play a crucial role in the India leadership team, contributing to the organisation’s long-term sustainable growth. She also has hands-on experience across various sectors such as financial services, media, and hospitality, both in India and internationally.

Welcoming Kapoor in the new role and speaking on the appointment, Anshul Jain, head, APAC tenant representation and managing director, India & South-East Asia, expressed his delight in welcoming Deepti Kapoor to the company. He emphasised their commitment to enhancing employee experiences and fostering a talent ecosystem that benefits both clients and the business. “I am confident that Deepti will build on this foundation and contribute towards achieving our goals by creating an inclusive workplace and a truly diverse and people centric culture,” he added.

Replying to the warm welcome wishes, Kapoor commented, “I am thrilled to be a part of the Cushman & Wakefield family and look forward to working with colleagues across the business to further strengthen the firm’s position as an employer of choice.”

Kapoor holds a master’s degree in human resources from FORE School of Management. She completed her bachelor’s degree in commerce from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University.
