Aliaxis, a global firm that offers advanced fluid-management solutions that enable access to water and energy, has appointed Jeyamalini Natesan as its chief human resource officer (CHRO), for India region. She was earlier head – human resources and OHS, Huhtamaki.
An ACSTH Certified Coach and an alumna of XLRI Jamshedpur, Natesan began her professional journey with Siemens in 2002 as a senior officer. The first long stint of her career was with Citi where she spent almost five years, as assistant vice president and regional head-human resources. During her tenure there, she reported to the CHRO and was responsible for providing HR leadership and coaching business leaders and line managers on strategic and people-related matters. In 2007, she moved to S&P Foundation, as vice president – human resources and admin.
After a short stint of less than two years, she joined PI Industries, as assistant vice president – human resources and admin, based out of Gurugram. She worked closely with the MD and CEO and partnered with the business heads of multiple businesses to support the top leadership in all aspects of people management.
January 2014 saw Natesan shifting base to Bangalore, when she joined AstraZenca as director and head – HR and facilities, India operations. As a member of the senior leadership team – India operations and member of the regional HR leadership team – APAC and Japan, Natesan partnered with the business for over five years, to build, change and adapt organisational systems around people that deliver business outcome.
In 2019, she moved to Navin Fluorine International where she conceptualized, designed and implemented HR programmes and processes for the next two years. In August 2021, she became part of Huhtamaki, as head of HR and occupational health and safety (OHS). Among other things, she set up the HR operating model by establishing COEs for better HR effectiveness
