Lenovo India, the global technology firm, has elevated Priya Tikare to the role of director-human resources. In this capacity, Tikare will lead all HR functions for the company’s India business, serving as both the head-HR and site HR leader. She will be based in Bangalore.
Tikare succeeds Bhavya Mishra who previously held the role for the period 2021-2024. She has now moved on to her new assignment with Godrej Capital, as CHRO.
Tikare will play a key role in attracting, developing and retaining top talent, as per company’s aim to create more than 1,000 technical jobs in the next few years. This comes as a part of its planned multi-year investment in the region. She will ensure optimal employee experience and operational smoothness. Her focus will centre around developing programmes and systems that empower employees, foster collaboration and enhance overall productivity.
Bringing over two decade of experience with her, Tikare has been a part of the company since 2015, when she joined as its head-TA for the Asia Pacific region. In the year 2018, she was elevated to the position of global director-HR, handling international services support. Additionally, she managed employee lifecycle, leading cross-cultural teams to encourage collaboration, partnering with local HR teams to ensure consistent policy implementation.
During her professional journey, she served a valuable stint with Metlife.

Along with an MBA degree, she has also completed an executive education programme in general management from IIM Bangalore.
