Locus, a global logistic solutions company, has announced the appointment of Anshu Singh as its VP & global Head of human resource. Singh carries more than 18 years of experience in the HR domain. In this role, Singh will be responsible for leading the people and culture agenda for the diverse talent spread across global locations such as North America, Europe, India and South East Asia at Locus. Establishing a common culture identity for such a diverse talent at Locus will be a focus for Singh in this role.
Prior to this role, Singh was the director HR at Zapr Media, a media tech startup where she played a critical role in designing the strategic HR decisions and partnering with the leadership teams for organisational priorities. Singh spent two and a half years with Zapr Media.
After completing her MBA, Singh started her corporate journey with TeamLease services, where she spent four years and went on to head the business development function for staffing and consulting business units in Karnataka and Kerala.
Moving on, Singh also had a short stint at Accenture as senior analyst where she was responsible for employee engagement and inter talent pool projects.
In 2007, Singh joined ICICI Prudential Life Insurance where she spent four years and served her last position as senior manager HR. In her four year stint, Singh was leading the regional HR teams for sales and corporate functions and was responsible for delivering the end to end people agenda and HR services in the company.
After ICICI, Singh spent six years at ING (Now Exide Life Insurance) as its general manager HR and headed the talent management, organisation development and D&I for the company. Singh worked closely with the CHRO to design talent strategy, driving talent identification, reward, development and retention of top talent.
Singh also spent another year and a half with Novo Nordisk as its head – people and organisation heading the HR function for the organisation.
With Singh’s appointment, Locus also announced the appointment of Anusha Yomahesh as director, brand and content marketing.
