Mansi Mehta has been recently appointed as the head of human resources, Gypsy Moth, an agency for fashion and lifestyle brands. Mehta will play a transformative role, spearheading all HR initiatives, systems and strategies at the company.

Her duties will primarily include supervising HR staff, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal standards, addressing grievances and taking disciplinary action when necessary. She will also anticipate and resolve litigation risks, report to senior management through data analysis and HR metrics, and formulate corporate plans for various HR areas, including compensation, benefits, health and safety, among others.

With a career spanning 12 years, Mehta has gained valuable insights and refined her expertise across various aspects of the human resources field. Prior to joining Gypsy Moth, Mehta was associated with The Glitch, where she held the position of senior manager. In this capacity, she concentrated on strategic recruitment efforts for multiple departments across Mumbai and Gurugram.

She has also been associated with companies such as MullenLowe Lintas, Adept Global and 22Feet Tribal Worldwide.

Her professional journey commenced at Adept Global, a recruitment firm, where she led a team of 16 professionals. During her tenure there, she not only excelled in talent acquisition but also immersed herself in various HR functions, laying a robust foundation for her career.

Priyanka Chugh, founder, Gypsy Moth, is confident that Mehta “will help us in setting up policies and processes across locations and create a culture of openness and diversity in the company.”

Beyond her work life, she is a passionate traveller, a dedicated dancer and a music enthusiast.
