Dhanashree Raaj has joined Prodevans Technologies as chief human resources officer (CHRO), taking responsibility for the company’s global people strategy as it looks to scale its operations, strengthen leadership capabilities and build a high-performing, people-centric culture.

Raaj brings more than two decades of HR leadership experience across technology, financial services, global capability centre (GCC) consulting and service delivery. Her experience spans organisation design, workforce planning, leadership development, performance management, total rewards, employee experience and HR transformation.

She joins Prodevans after working independently as a Fractional CHRO from September 2025, advising organisations on HR strategy, senior recruitment, organisation design and workforce planning.

Before moving into independent consulting, Raaj served as associate director-human resources business partner at ANSR Global Corporation from June 2024 to February 2025. She partnered with business leaders across client partnerships, intake design, legal, mid-market and shared services, working on talent strategy, organisational effectiveness, performance management, succession planning, rewards and recognition, and employee engagement.

A significant part of Raaj’s career was spent at IIFL Samasta Finance, where she worked for more than five years, from October 2018 to December 2023. She joined as assistant general manager and progressed through two promotions, handling people, culture, diversity, equity and inclusion, talent strategy and corporate communication.

At IIFL Samasta, Raaj partnered with the executive leadership team during a period of substantial business expansion. She supported the growth of the company’s distributed workforce from around 3,000 to more than 16,500 employees as its geographical presence expanded from 10 to 22 states.

During her tenure, Raaj also helped develop the company’s culture and employee experience roadmap, with IIFL Samasta earning a place among India’s Top 100 Great Place to Work organisations in 2022, its first year participating in the assessment.

Before IIFL Samasta, Raaj worked as an independent HR consultant, advising clients on organisation design, workforce planning, compensation benchmarking, rewards and talent acquisition. Her consulting assignments also included heading the HR function at a robotics manufacturing organisation.

Earlier, she was associated with NetServ Technologies as head-human resources  from January 2015 to August 2017, where she led recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, HR systems and compliance. Her work included building teams for critical projects, implementing HR technology and developing structured employee learning and career-progression frameworks.

Raaj’s earlier experience includes a stint as senior manager – human resources at Sensiple Software Solutions, where she led recruitment, performance management, employee engagement and HR operations, and as manager – human resources at HCL Technologies, where she worked as an HR business partner for clients in the banking, financial services and insurance domain.

She began her career at Infosys Technologies in August 2000, handling employee lifecycle processes, HR systems, recruitment coordination, employee engagement and grievance resolution. She subsequently moved into HR business partnering at PayPal, where she was recognised as Best Employee of the Year in 2007 for her work on employee engagement and client-team collaboration.

A Commerce graduate from Bangalore University, Raaj holds an MDBA in Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.

At Prodevans Technologies, Raaj will rely on her experience in workforce expansion, organisational design, leadership development and people analytics to align the company’s global people strategy with business growth, even while strengthening leadership capability and employee experience.
