    OLX People elevates Olive Sen as the head – product & marketing

    OLX People, the Indian tech-powered HR platform, has announced the elevation of Olive Sen to the position of head – product and marketing. Sen, who has over 12 years of experience, was earlier the director- strategy & growth at OLX People, and will take on the new responsibilities with immediate effect. He will lead the product, marketing & analytics teams for OLX People and Waah Jobs, the blue-collar jobs marketplace in India.

    Backed by more than a decade’s experience in consumer-facing product and service companies across sectors, that include classifieds, FMCG, auto and pharma industries, Sen joined the OLX Group for more than six years ago, and has led the growth and monetisation initiatives for the Company.

    Before joining OLX, Sen worked in a technology startup in the FMCG sector, and in consulting with ZS Associates, a global consulting firm that works with pharmaceutical and technology companies. He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, from where he completed his BTech in mechanical engineering, Sen began his career with Nissan Motors in the R&D department.

    Tarun Sinha, CEO, OLX People, points out that Sen’s elevation comes at the right time, “ as we look to innovate for customers and capitalise on attractive growth opportunities”. Therefore, Sen’s “strategic acuity will serve us well to help deliver on our strategic priorities”.

    Sen himself is confident of the Company’s “strong product and technology team who have built a great platform that makes hiring and employee management of blue-collar workers seamless for the employers.” He shares that his “ambition is to take our operational efficiencies to the next level, driven by technology, which will help achieve our business goals as well as cater to the ever evolving needs of the market.” Sen feels that together with the team, he “will be able to create high recognition for OLX People in a highly competitive market”,
