Pernod Ricard, the multinational alcoholic beverages manufacturing company, has brought in total rewards & talent management advisor & collaborator, Namita Bharadwaj, to head the compensations and benefits function in India. Bharadwaj brings almost 19 years of experience in HR to the Company.

Having completed an MBA in marketing and human resources from the Management Development Institute, in 2003, Bharadwaj began her professional career with Quark, the Michigan-based computer software company, where she joined as a senior HR analyst. During her three and a half year stint with Quark, she worked in the learning and development (L&D) vertical before moving to a role in compensation and performance management, with significant exposure to MI activities/processes.

After a brief, seven-month engagement with professional training & coaching company, People Factor, she joined Vertex Data Science. There, she took on the role of manager-compensation & benefits and performance management.

Three and half successful years with Vertex and it was time for her to move to Mercer HR Consulting, where she has spent the majority of her career. In her 11-year engagement with Mercer, she undertook roles across industries and across total rewards benchmarking, talent management advisory, and account management.

With her latest appointment to the senior HR role at Pernod Ricard India, she will help the Company strengthen its total rewards and performance management strategy functions, an area where Bharadwaj has significant experience.
