After a successful six-year long association with Fortinet, Ranjith KP has joined Palo Alto Network as human resources director.
An alumnus of the University of Mysore, Ranjith holds an MBA in human resources from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
He began his career in HR with Kaparthy Infotech as manager – HR. He then moved to UXL Technologies as manager – HR in 2003 for a two-year stint. Then, he spent two and a half years with NTT Data Systems, as manager – HR/ HR business partner.
His next stop was McAfee, in 2007, where he joined as senior HR business partner. He essayed this role for over five years.
From 2013 to 2015, he served as manager – HR, Cisco Systems leading HR for multiple engineering business groups, in the Bangalore area.
It was in December 2015 that he joined Fortinet, the cyber security products and solutions provider, where he lead the people function — engineering, field sales, support & corp functions — in India & SAARC. At Fortinet, he got the opportunity to partner with the best of minds in the technology industry. He contributed significantly to creating a fun-filled workplace that nurtured innovation and thought leadership.
At Palo Alto Networks, as HR leader for India, Ranjith will help drive people strategies to grow the business and scale the organisation. He will work with the senior leaders across functions and collaborate with each of the people teams to operationalise the vision of making Palo Alto Networks the best place to work in India.
