    Satender K Sighadia will take charge as head-HR at FMC India

    FMC India has announced the elevation of Satender K Sighadia as the new head-HR.

    FMC Corporation is a global agricultural science company, and Sighadia will be taking over from Sanjay Gopinath who has been further elevated to the position of HR director for APAC. While Gopinath will be based out of Singapore, Sighadia will take charge as India head – HR starting April 01, 2022.

    In this role, Sighadia will lead the HR function for the commercial and manufacturing business at FMC India.

    It has been over eight years since Sighadia joined FMC India. Prior to this role, he was part of the India leadership at FMC and was handling HR for the India commercial team.

    An ex-serviceman, Sighadia was part of the Indian Army for over six years, handling the HR management function and employee relations.

    He started his corporate journey with Infosys in 2008, joining as an assistant manager – HR. He was in an HR business partner role for the customer-service account.

    Having spent over five years with Infosys, he grew within the HR business partnering role. He served his last position at Infosys as unit manager, HR business partner, leading HR life cycle for over 2500 employees.

    Sighadia also carries a diploma in business management, HR and marketing from the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon.
