    Satyadeep Mishra leaves OYO, joins CleverTap as CHRO

    Satyadeep Mishra joins CleverTap as the chief human resource officer (CHRO). CleverTap is a SaaS-based customer lifecycle management and mobile marketing company, headquartered in Mountain View, California. CleverTap has the world’s number one retention cloud which supports app-first brands to personalize and optimize the consumer’s touch points, this improves user engagement, retention, and lifetime value.

    Before joining CleverTap, Mishra was the chief people officer at OYO, a hospitality technology platform. At OYO, he was responsible for the company’s technology, product, global functions and international markets teams.

    Mishra joined CleverTap with an experience of 20 years from different organisations including Jio, Bajaj Finance, Barclays and many more. With two decades of work experience, Mishra also brings his unique capability of leading teams and conceptualizing innovative strategies of talent acquisition for HR, training and development and performance management. Mishra joined L&T Infotech in 1999 as an HR executive, he worked there for 1 year. In 2000, he started working as an HR manager at Infosys Technologies where he worked for 6 years of comprehensive and progressive HR experience ranging across Corporate C&B, Recruitment, OE and Employee Relations.

    After that, for one year he worked as an HR business partner at Microsoft Global R&D. In 2007 he joined Barclays Technology Centre India as lead HR business partner and continued in the same role for almost 3 years. After that he joined Barclays Global Retail Bank, Technology, Asia as the regional head of Talent, Leadership & Learning from 2010-2011. Then for the next four years, he worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland; where he joined as an HR business partner, Global Banking & Markets (Technology & Risk Services) and was later on promoted to director – HR, Global Finance Services, Risk and Technology (CIB), India. For Bajaj finance, he worked as chief of HR and corporate services.

    Mishra worked longest at Jio, Mumbai for 6 years and 2 months as the head of HR, where he contributed to building the #DigitalIndia drives and set up a number of very interesting high-tech and R&D businesses. After that in February 2022, Mishra joined OYO as chief people officer.

    Mishra also holds a PGDM, HR management, Finance degree from Xavier Institute Management.
