Arun Verma, former CHRO of Brightstar India (Beetel Teletech), has now been appointed the senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Servify. In his new role, he will be responsible for people experience, capability development and building the workforce of the future, across three continents.
Verma, who holds an MBA in personnel management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, is also a mechanical engineering graduate from BIT.
His first assignment in the field of HR was at Cavinkare, where he joined as executive-HR in Chennai, for two and a half years. His next stint was with Reliance Mutual Fund, as manager – human resources. A little over a year later, he joined McKinsey & Company as HR professional, based out of their Gurugram office. For close to four years, head HR for three service lines at the Company — practice research; research and analytics insights(RAI) and proprietary knowledge.
In 2010, he joined Xerox India as deputy GM- HR. In his four-year long successful tenure at Xerox, he was elevated multiple times and was the associate director – HR by the time he left in 2015.
His next stop was Brightstar India (Beetel Teletech), where he was CHRO. At this Brightstar/Beetel joint venture — which is into the sales and distribution of consumer lifestyle products, communication and media devices, enterprise solutions and IT products — his responsibilities included people management and capability development across offices in India, including the Company’s manufacturing facility.
