    Tata Capital elevates Shruti Sharma to head HR – SME, corporate & cleantech finance, wealth management, securities & private equity

    Tata Capital has promoted Shruti Sharma to the role of HR – SME, corporate & cleantech finance, wealth management, securities & private equity. She was serving as senior vice president – human resources since April 2023.

    Armed with a master’s degree in labour studies from the University of Mumbai, Sharma began her professional journey with the Essar Group, as senior officer, human resources, in 2000. Less than two years later, she moved to Repro India as senior officer – HR. In 2003, she joined Idea Cellular as manager – human resources, Maharashtra and Goa circle. Two years later, she moved to Exide Life Insurance (ING Vysya Life Insurance) as regional manager – human resources. There, she managed talent lifecycle initiatives for western region, including recruitment, performance management and engagement for almost a year and a half.

    Her next stop was Tata Capital, where she entered as assistant VP – senior manager – HR in 2007. Almost nine years later, that is, in 2016, she was made deputy vice president – talent and rewards and shared services HR.

    The year 2019 saw her elevated to the role of vice president – human resources. Four years into this role, she was again promoted to the position of senior vice president – human resources.

    Sharma has completed a CHRO programme in human resource development from Wharton Executive Education. She is also an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
