Accounting organisation and global provider of professional consultancy services, Deloitte, is all set to add 40,000 employees to its already 40,000 strong workforce at Hyderabad, by 2024. The consulting firm is expanding in India as the demand for outcome-based solutions, including technology services from advisory and audit companies appears to be on the rise here.

The stiff competition from global and domestic technology service companies, including IBM, Accenture and TCS may have prompted this hiring spurt.

The Company is on the lookout for engineers and software professionals from the top universities as well as specific talent in the areas of technology implementation. It is seeking candidates across the domains of IT systems, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, system integration and finance functions.

The recruitments will be majorly done for the Hyderabad office, which is Deloitte’s biggest and houses the maximum headcount. The work culture at Deloitte Hyderabad is much talked about by those who have had the opportunity to work there. The workforce is mixed, mature, hard-working, stable and at the same time fun loving as per comments of ex-employees. In addition, Hyderabad is known as a progressive city with a lot of tech-savvy population.

KPMG is also expected to hire about 8,000 plus employees in India as part of its plan to expand its global service delivery capabilities.
