AHEAD, the Chicago-based global IT company that engineers digital platforms for enterprise transformation has announced the opening of a Bangalore office, the third one in India. The launch follows the opening of AHEAD’s delivery centre in Gurugram in 2023 and its Hyderabad office in 2024, establishing a three-city India footprint that now forms a core pillar of AHEAD’s global delivery model.
The company has more than 700 employees across its India Centre of Excellence and provides consulting, transformation and ongoing support for AI, cloud, cybersecurity, platform engineering and end-to-end IT outsourcing to some of the world’s largest organizations. The new office will give rise to job opportunities in Bangalore now.
As one of the leading technology and digital engineering hubs offering expertise in AI, cloud, platform engineering and product development, Bangalore has attracted AHEAD to expand its engineering capabilities and strengthen support for large-scale enterprise transformation programs globally.
According to Sumed Marwaha, managing director, AHEAD India, the opening of three offices in India within three years reflects the value India has created for both AHEAD and its clients and Bengaluru being the hotspot for the world’s deepest engineering talent, particularly in AI, cloud and platform engineering, can be used to build a significant team focused on engineers eager to solve complex global challenges.
Keith Odom, EVP – services & consulting, AHEAD, shared that the Bengaluru office is a part of their strategic growth plan. This expansion can strengthen their capabilities in platform engineering and AI-led delivery, which can build the digital experiences and workflow platforms that sit on top of enterprise infrastructure. Furthermore, he added that the India team is fully equipped to engage with global enterprise clients, owning end-to-end workstreams and combining strategic leadership with engineering depth.
