The company hopes to create a merit-driven talent ecosystem aimed at perfecting the science of matching talent with opportunity, through credible and intelligent assessments.

Aspiring Minds, an employability evaluation and certification company, has develop its first R&D facility for promoting and strengthening research and technology innovations.

The company claims to have expansion plans for growth into markets, such as China, the US and the Middle East. In the next three years, the company will witness an investment of over six million dollars. It aims to increase the focus on assessment technology, as the field does not receive much funding, compared to training and other related verticals.

    Varun Aggarwal

Co-founder and CTO, Varun Aggarwal, has high hopes for the upcoming R&D centre, “We aim to create employability solutions for corporations across all genres. The state-of-the-art technology, which will be developed by the new R&D facility, will help us digitise the whole process of hiring in the new countries where we are plan to enter. Through this facility, we are also looking at nurturing local talent.”

The company is looking at hiring over 100 high-end technologists and researchers from the rich talent pool of IITs and other top notch colleges. In order to build the next generation of scalable assessment technology, it plans to develop an analytics platform to derive insights from the vast amounts of data that would be collected.

Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test (AMCAT), has proven to be a scientific, comprehensive solution that uses patent-pending technology to help companies dramatically improve their hiring. It not only enables jobseekers to evaluate and certify their skills but also find appropriate career opportunities. More than 2 million candidates have taken the cloud-based, data-driven test, resulting in over 400,000 job matches.
