Capgemini has been inviting applications from engineering and tech graduates, who have obtained their degrees in 2019 or 2020.

The tech major has been on the lookout for those with MCA, BE/BTech degree. Students from ME/MTech who have studied information technology, information science and computer science were also allowed to apply.

Applications were accepted only from those who had scored at least 50 per cent in their ME, MTech, MCA, graduation and diploma courses, and who had completed their BE/BTech in not more than four years. Only resumes that did not depict a gap in education of over a year from Class 10 to postgraduation were selected.

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the virtual assessment / selection process. Once selected, they will undergo a customised training programme that will last eight to ten weeks.

The test for the shortlisted candidates will begin from January 14 onwards. The assessment will comprise technical assessment pseudocode, followed by multiple choice questions on English communication. There will also be a game-based aptitude test and behavioural competency profiling before a technical interview and an HR interview round.

The candidates were informed that they should be willing to work across technologies, domains and roles and be open to working and relocating to any city that Capgemini is present in, including Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Noida, Pune, Salem and Tiruchirappalli.

The selected candidates will be required to sign a Service Level Agreement at the time of joining Capgemini’s 1,50,000-strong workforce in India.
