Carlsberg Group, the global brewery group, has roped in Vandana Kapur as the vice president-human resources, to oversee its India operations. In her new role, she will play a crucial part in shaping the trajectory of human capital at Carlsberg India, with a specific focus on organisational effectiveness, talent management, and enhancement of diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives.
Prior to joining Carlsberg Group, Kapur was associated with Agilent Technologies as its country head-human resources. She joined the company in the year 2022.
Kapur brings over two decades of experience across corporate, consulting and entrepreneurial spheres. Her expertise lies in HR strategy, organisation design and effectiveness, business partnering, executive coaching, leadership development, employee engagement, DEI, talent acquisition & management, capability building, performance management, HR operations, rewards, culture building, labour laws and psychometrics.
Her professional journey also includes stints with several other organisations such as Centrient Pharmaceuticals, DSM Sinochem Pharmaceuticals, DSM Anti Infectives and Manford Coretech.
Her longest tenure was with Centrient Pharmaceuticals, where she spent over seven years. She joined the company in the year 2015, as its global director-organisation development and learning. In about six months, she was elevated to the role of director-HR & OD, for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa region. In 2019, she was again elevated to the role of global HR director-technical operations, and the quality regional HR director-APAC South Asia.
She successfully essayes the role for close to three years before moving to Agilent Technologies.
An alumna of Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi, Kapur holds a post graduate diploma in global business operations-international business, human resources, organisational design and development.
