    Vishal Singh is the new CHRO, BPTP

    Vishal Singh, former CHRO, Alumina Business, Vedanta, has joined BPTP, the real-estate organization, as chief human resources officer.

    With over 27 years of experience backing him, Singh’s professional journey commenced way back in 1997, when he joined Indkom as regional sales manager. His association with HR began in 1999 with Reliance Energy, having joined as head – HR, EPC Business. Five years later, he moved to Deloitte as practice leader –human capital advisory services.This stint, however, lasted less than a year.

    From 2004 to 2005 he was with Infosys Technologies as manager-organisational effectiveness and talent management consulting. A year later, he was back in Deloitte as practice leader-human capital advisory services. His next stop was QAI India, as head-HR, reporting to the CEO.

    His association with HCL began in 2007, when he joined as head-HR, SAP business. Three years into this role, he was elevated to the role of director-HR. During his five-year tenure, he drove a large scale HR transformation journey in line with the business strategy of the organization across over 35 countries, impacting a one-lakh strong workforce.

    The year 2015 saw him at Hero MotoCorp, as HR leader. During his six-year long tenure, he shouldered multiple roles while reporting to the CHRO, CIO and COO. He headed compensation & benefits, HR technology, HR operations, compliance, risk management, talent management and talent acquisition.

    In 2022, after a short stint with Emami Agrotech, he joined Vedanta.

    An alumnus of Symbiosis International University, Singh is known for his ability to put method to the madness. HRKatha is confident that his skill of connecting with people will stand him in good stead in his new assignment at BPTP.
