E-commerce shipping aggregator Fship is gearing up for a significant expansion, aiming to double its workforce by December 2024. This ambitious hiring drive targets over 100 new employees across various departments, supporting the company’s goal of achieving a minimum 30% month-on-month increase in shipment volume.

The expansion also reflects Fship’s commitment to the Skill India initiative, generating employment opportunities within the booming e-commerce and logistics sectors. The recruitment drive will target a diverse range of roles, including senior positions in marketing, sales, technology & product development, and finance, all geared towards supporting Fship’s aggressive growth trajectory.

The company is also aiming to double its active user base, targeting over 5,000 users including more than 500 direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands. Currently employing around 90 people, Fship anticipates its workforce to reach a staggering 200 by year-end.

“We’re excited to welcome new talent to the team as we embark on this exciting growth phase,” declared Ashutosh Bharti, founder and CEO of Fship. He emphasised the need for skilled professionals who can manage large teams, bring fresh ideas and innovation, and ultimately contribute to achieving the company’s ambitious goals.

Bharti further highlighted the recent addition of 15 graduates from G.L. Bajaj Institute in Greater Noida, specifically bolstering the company’s sales team. This initiative underscores Fship’s commitment to nurturing young talent.

Fship’s robust growth is evident, and this recruitment drive demonstrates their dedication to building a diverse and high-performing team capable of meeting ever-evolving customer demands. Through investments in talent development and retention initiatives, the company aims to cultivate a highly skilled workforce that can meet the dynamic demands of India’s logistics sector, ultimately ensuring sustainable growth and driving long-term success.
