L&OD to celebrate ‘Best Leadership Development Practices of Asia’ on Sep 24 in Mumbai

Four organisations have made it to the finals of the Best Leadership Development Practices of Asia Study 2015

 

L&OD (Learning and OD Roundtable) is all set to unveil the next round of a day-long seminar and awards ceremony to celebrate the ‘Best Leadership Development Practices of Asia’.

The event is a culmination of a pioneering study organised by the Learning and OD Roundtable—Asia’s largest forum for practising HR/ L&OD professionals.

The study aims to recognise outstanding efforts in the area of building leadership capability across organisations in India Inc.

It invited entries across four categories — Best Practice in Cadre Building Programmes, Best Practice in Developing First Time Managers, Best Practice in CXO Development and Best Practice in Developing High Performer-High Potential Employees.

The study witnessed an overwhelming response with over 45 organisations participating in multiple categories, which were put through a robust evaluation process. The final shortlisted entries were evaluated by a distinguished panel comprising luminaries from academia and industry.

The members of the jury included P Thiruvengadam (senior director –Deloitte), Prof. Indira Parikh (founder-FLAME), Stephen Bennett (CEO-Inspirational Development Group, UK) and Rajeshwar Upadhyaya (director-par excellence and visiting faculty-Indian School of Business).

The winners were selected on the basis of cumulative scores, independently obtained from members of the jury.

Four organisations have made it as the finalists of the Best Leadership Development Practices of Asia Study 2015, in each category, and will share their best practices at the Best Leadership Development Practices of Asia through moderated panel discussions scheduled on 24 September, 2015, in Mumbai

Each panel will be moderated by a luminary HR leader from the industry including Yogi Sriram (Sr VP-Larsen and Toubro), Sandeep Chaudhary (CEO-Aon Hewitt India), Nishchae Suri (partner and country head- people and change, KPMG) and Prithvi Shergill (CHRO-HCL Technologies).
