Imperial Auto Industries, the Indian integrated manufacturer and assembler of fluid transmission products, has roped in Prashant Srivastava as chief people officer (CPO), tasking him with aligning HR strategy to the company’s growth in automotive and industrial engineering markets. His role will span organisational effectiveness, leadership development, talent management, and culture transformation for the global component manufacturer.
After a decade as a senior VP of HR, admin & CSR at Greenlam Industries (2016–2026), Srivastava moved to Imperial Auto. At Greenlam, he supported massive business scale-up, managing organisational design and talent initiatives for 2,500 employees and over 12,000 dealers. Prior to that, he led HR at Orient Electric (2012–2016) across four business units and multiple manufacturing hubs, driving change management and executive succession planning. Over his 20+ year career, Srivastava has built extensive HR expertise spanning the manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, logistics, and power sectors.
Srivastava is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in managing people operations, organisation development, and startup HR. At TNT, he managed HR for a major regional revenue driver and later led national training and engagement programmes for over 1,800 employees. Earlier in his career, he held key HR roles at Schneider Electric, Alstom Power and Tyco. Notably, at Powerlinks Transmission, he built the entire HR department from scratch, setting up company policies, safety standards, and employee incentive programmes.
With Imperial Auto serving global OEMs, Srivastava’s mandate is to build a high-performance, future-ready workforce that matches the sector’s demand for operational agility and leadership depth.
All the best, Prashant!
