In a bid to transform its Pune unit into a digital hub, QuEST Global plans to expand its present 350-strong workforce by 2,000 in the next three years. The engineering and lifecycle services company is gearing up to hire about 400 engineers by the end of this financial year itself.
To be able to cater to its global digital and hi-tech customers from Pune, it is looking out for engineers with expertise in Cloud, JAVA, Restful API technologies, Android & iOS, Web Technologies, Angular, React, and .NET/C++. In 2020, the Company had also launched a dedicated Centre for Excellence (CoE) for Microsoft Azure in Pune.
With most of QuEST Global’s engineering clients focussing on adopting digital technologies, and working towards ensuring faster and accurate decision-making and higher efficiencies, the demand for artificial intelligence-driven tools has gone up. Therefore, the focus on data analytics, internet of things, deep learning and artificial intelligence has grown.
QuEST Global will take on both freshers and experienced professionals, and therefore, engineering graduates will definitely form a significant part of the workforce. They will be trained and assigned projects to work on at the Pune digital hub.
Earlier this year, in January, the Company had established a Train Control and Management System (TCMS) lab at Hyderabad. Spread over 5,800 sq. ft, the lab will facilitate verification and validation of safety-critical TCMS software for multiple functionalities. It had revealed intentions to hire 200 engineers in Hyderabad with expertise in all phases of the software development lifecycle, test automation, and ethernet and internet protocol technology.
