Career platform Internshala and IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation have joined forces to offer in-demand tech skill training to students. The collaboration will see co-branded programs in areas like ethical hacking, data science, and machine learning, delivered through Internshala’s online training platform.
The 6-8 week courses aim to equip students with practical skills, while Internshala will provide them with internship placement assistance across a range of opportunities. Upon completion, participants will receive a co-branded certificate from both institutions.
“As an IIT Madras alumnus, I’m thrilled to bridge the skill gap for Indian youth,” said Internshala founder and CEO Sarvesh Agrawal. “We’re honoured to offer placement assistance and industry-aligned training programs to enhance their employability.”
Prof. V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, highlighted the importance of such partnerships in achieving India’s economic goals. “Joint efforts by premier institutions and industry players like Internshala are crucial to bridge the academia-industry gap and prepare students for the future workforce,” he said.
This collaboration aligns with Internshala’s mission to equip young Indians with relevant skills for an ever-evolving job market. The partnership leverages IIT Madras Pravartak’s academic expertise and Internshala’s industry connections to create valuable learning opportunities for students.
