Zee Media (ZMCL) is granting its employees 50 per cent advance on the annual variable pay (VPay) for the current financial year, that is, 2024-25. This festival advance will be paid to them along with their October salary as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

According to Karan Abhishek Singh, CEO, Zee Media, this is the company’s way of showing “our appreciation in a meaningful way. By advancing a portion of their annual variable pay, we hope to enable our team to celebrate the season with added confidence and joy.” Singh hopes that the workforce can “look forward to a promising year ahead, fuelled by resilience and shared ambition.”
The advance is a meaningful gesture aimed to energise employees as Zee Media embraces a forward-looking approach, building on its successes and reaffirming its dedication to employee well-being for a productive year ahead.

Zee Media runs 18 news channels in seven different languages, reaching more than 528+ million viewers through its linear and digital properties. The company reportedly earned a total revenue of Rs 224 crore for the half-year ending 30 September, 2024. This is 6.6 per cent higher than the Rs 210 crore earned during the same time in the previous financial year.
