SAP Labs India has announced the establishment of a new office in Pune, aimed at creating job opportunities for 300 employees. The office will be situated in the Kharadi area of Pune.
Ever since SAP began its journey in India from Bengaluru with a small team of 150 employees, it has expanded rapidly and has witnessed growth in job opportunities. The company is also actively building a new office in Bengaluru, which is poised to accommodate up to 15,000 employees. The groundbreaking ceremony for this forthcoming campus in Devanahalli, near Bengaluru Airport, occurred on 29, May 2023.
SAP Labs India is celebrating its 25th year in India in 2023 and as part of its commitment to boosting employment. The company recently declared its intention to double its workforce in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) by 2024.
About 40 per cent of the company’s workforce is based in India and 25 per cent of all SAP patents originate from SAP Labs India, underscoring the nation’s substantial contributions to pioneering research and development within the organisation. Nearly 60 per cent of SAP’s Indian workforce is dedicated to AI-related projects, reinforcing the company’s commitment to creating jobs in this dynamic field.
