Phenom, a global firm in AI-driven HR technology, has acquired EDGE, a Bengaluru-based resource- management and talent- mobility platform. This acquisition strengthens Phenom’s capabilities in workforce intelligence, specifically for professional services firms and global capability centres (GCCs).

Phenom is set to double its workforce within the next two years. It currently operates in Hyderabad, Vizag, and Bengaluru and plans to expand to more locations across India. The acquisition supports Phenom’s long-term strategy of growing its talent and technology base in key markets.

This is Phenom’s sixth acquisition, reinforcing its mission to help a billion people find the right work. With this move, Phenom expands its presence in the country and strengthens its workforce-planning expertise.

By integrating EDGE’s advanced resource planning capabilities, Phenom aims to deliver more efficient workforce solutions. EDGE’s technology has already been tested by top global organisations, proving its effectiveness in strategic workforce planning at scale. It brings a unique automation and intelligence framework that has delivered significant improvements in workforce management

Mahe Bayireddi, CEO & co-founder, Phenom, emphasised the urgency for smarter workforce solutions, noting that with rapid AI advancements, organisations must enhance their workforce strategies to stay competitive. He added that intelligence and automation enable HR teams to scale phenomenal experiences, and the EDGE acquisition will further strengthen Phenom’s ability to support professional services firms and GCCs.

With this acquisition, Phenom is set to revolutionise workforce planning and AI-driven HR solutions in India and beyond.
