    Prabir Jha, SV Nathan, Srikanth Balachandran retain their positions as HR Power Profiles for 2017

    The fourth edition of the most viewed LinkedIn profiles in India also has some new names in the HR category this time.

    LinkedIn just released its list of Power Profiles for the year, and the fourth edition of the most viewed LinkedIn profiles of professionals in India has some new names in the HR category this time. Amongst the most viewed HR professionals on LinkedIn in India this year, the names that have again made it to the list are Prabir Jha, global chief people officer, Cipla; Nathan SV, human resources leader, Deloitte; and Srikanth Balachandran, global chief human resources officer, Airtel.

    The new names among the HR professionals who emerged as one of the most viewed in 2017 include, Moorthy Uppaluri, ex- managing director and chief executive officer, Randstad; Ajay Kukreja, country HR director, Honeywell; Megha Dhamija, head-corporate human resources, Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance; and Steve Correa, CHRO, Diageo India.

    Through the list this year, LinkedIn recognises 50 such professionals, who have successfully invested in building their professional brand on the platform. Apart from HR, the list features professionals from diverse industries, such as technology, finance, Internet and marketing. Additionally, this year’s list celebrates the most viewed LinkedIn Influencers from India on the platform.

    Akshay Kothari, country manager and head of product, LinkedIn India says, “Our Power Profiles of 2017 have built a strong brand by sharing their diverse experiences and voicing their opinions on issues that matter to our members. In the course of their own journey on LinkedIn, they have inspired our members to invest in building a strong profile that can lead them to the right opportunities, and help them achieve their professional goals.”

    Furthermore, Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, with his 2.2 million followers on the platform, is a third time return to the list. Among other LinkedIn Influencers, Kailash Satyarthi, founder Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation, global icon and actor Priyanka Chopra, and Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament, India, and chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for External Affairs are the new entries.
