    Acceleration Partners gets new CPO, global head – HR in Suparna Basu-Ravis

    Global partnership marketing agency, Acceleration Partners (AP), has appointed Suparna Basu-Ravis as its chief people officer, global head of human resources.

    Basu-Ravis, who is an alumna of the Penn State University, served the longest stint of her career with Brown Brothers Harriman, where she worked as senior VP – senior HRBP investor services for over 11 years. There, she sucsessfully oversaw HR strategies for service delivery and technology client groups, impacting a global workforce of over 4,000 employees across the US, Asia and Europe. During her tenure, she provided critical change-management leadership to drive sweeping improvements.

    Early in her career, she worked with Morgan Stanley, as analyst for sales, trading and research HR. She has also served as AVP-corporate recruiting for chief financial office, global risk & research, at Merrill Lynch for two years. In 2008, she joined Moodys Corporation as lead recruiter, Moody’s Analytics. As a business partner for recruiting across North America and South America, she optimised recruiting operations with analytics and metrics, long-term strategic outlook and a DE&I cultural lens.

    In her new assignment at Acceleration Partners, she and her team will be responsible for building and optimising a global talent strategy with a strong focus on strategic workforce planning, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) and quality and data-driven practices.

    She will be expected to create a future-proof talent strategy, and also lead culture and engagement, enabling leadership accountability, and driving change.

    Acceleration Partners manages programmes in 40 countries for over 170 brands. Its fully remote global staff of over 300, offers data-driven expertise in various key partnership marketing tactics, including affiliate, influencer, content, mass media, and B2B partner marketing.
