    Accelya appoints Funda Saltuk Stoica as CHRO

    The UK-based travel technology app – Accelya has appointed Funda Saltuk Stoica as CHRO. She has more than 30 years of experience in the field of tech industry.

    The appointment comes as Accelya prepares to launch a state-of-the-art ‘Centre of Excellence’ in Pune. The app developer will be initially hosting up to 500 top class airlines technology talent.

    Prior to joining Accelya, Stoica has worked with several organisations including Deltatel as the head of IoT (Internet of Things). She has also led large-scale projects to hire technology talent and develop offshore talent hubs with Alcatel Lucent and Veeam.

    In her new role as a CHRO, she will be responsible for developing Accelya’s recruitment strategy to support its work on-going developing solutions to the global airline and travel industry.

    The Pune office will accelerate the digital transformation of the airline business through industrialising NDC adoption and modernising airline retailing with One Order.
    According to the reports, she said that as the travel industry recovers and airlines look to make-up for lost time, she is very excited to join a leading technology provider at the forefront of innovation in the air transport industry.
    The company’s focus is on the talent as the most important asset is a testament to its commitment to continuous improvement– and she is excited to be a part of this journey.
    Meanwhile, Jim Davidson, CEO, Accelya, said that Stoica comes to Accelya with an exceptional history of building strong relationships across all stakeholders on a global scale. He added that the company is delighted to have on the board, where she will be an asset to the company.

    He also added that Stoica’s appointment will also help in maintaining their commitment to becoming the employer of choice in their industry.
