Aditya Birla Money, an online stock-brokerage firm and a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Capital, has recently named Anju Jumde as its new head-HR & admin. She has spent nearly nine years at Aditya Birla Group starting, from 2015 to 2024.

Given her over two decades of experience, Jumde brings a wealth of expertise to her new position. Prior to her tenure at Aditya Birla Group, she served with several renowned organisations such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Citibank and Barclays.

An alumna of XLRI, Jumde commenced her career with Citibank in 1997 as the head-Citiphone West Cards. This also marked the longest stint of her professional journey having spent over ten years with the bank.

In 2007, Jumde moved to Barclays Private Bank as its head-call centre in India. In 2009 she was elevated to the role of head-training & employee engagement.

Almost three years into this role at Barclays, Jumde joined Royal Bank of Scotland in the year 2012. She held the role of head- learning delivery for over three years and then moved to Aditya Birla Group in the year 2015.

As part of her responsibilities, she spearheaded all the key practices at the Aditya Birla Group (ABG). She took charge of talent and succession management, overseeing the strategic planning and development of talent within the organisation. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in spearheading the HR Portfolio for the ‘Campus Programme’, demonstrating the Group’s commitment to nurturing and developing emerging talents within the conglomerate.

Jumde holds an MBA from Welingkar Institute of Management and a professional degree in leadership for women from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
