Mino Thomas, who was senior director and head of talent acquisition and staffing at Adobe, has now been elevated to senior director -talent and global head – talent operations.
Thomas has been with Adobe since 2019, when he joined as director, head of talent acquisition and staffing. After over two years of heading the talent acquisition and staffing functions for executive, lateral and campus, and covering hiring across all business units, sales teams , technology verticals, shared services and functions for India, he was promoted to senior director and head of talent acquisition and staffing in 2022.
The longest stint of Thomas’ career was with Wipro, where he joined as group leader – quality and functional consultant – HR, in 2003. During his tenure of over three years, he successfully led the team of auditors and analysts, and spearheaded the ISO and BS7799 audits. By 2007, he was partner engagement manager – talent acquisition. A year into this role, he was promoted to the post of regional recruitment manager – talent acquisition. For over four years, he managed regional resourcing for western and north-western regions.
In 2012, he was promoted yet again. This promotion took him to New Jersey, as senior manager – talent acquisition, heading onsite hiring for Wipro Technologies; GIS (Global Infrastructure Services) and ESS (Enterprise Security Services) service lines in the US, EU and APAC. By 2016, he was back in India, as head – talent acquisition, heading lateral hiring for India, Middle East and stand alone geographies, from Bengaluru.
The year 2017 saw him moving to HP, where he served as head – talent acquisition and staffing for about two and a half years before switching to Adobe.
Armed with a bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE), electronics and telecommunication, Thomas has expertise in the conceptualisation, formulation, articulation and implementation of TA process and metrics and building and running large global teams. He loves engaging with the student community, and adores teaching and coaching.
