    Amit Chincholikar joins Yokohama Off-Highway Tires as global CHRO

    Chincholikar a Tata veteran, parted from his role as global CHRO at Tata Consumer Products (TCP) in January, who was succeeded by Tarun N P Verma after his 12 year stint with the conglomerate.

    A highly skilled HR professional in team management and HR practices, Yokohama Off-Highway Tires will look forward to having him as its global CHRO.

    Since his departure, he joined Compport as a member to its advisory board in February where he helps steer the growth vision at the HR tech firm on a contractual basis.

    A Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) alumni, he has held prominent positions at various large organisations throughout his 25 year long career.

    He began his career as associate director and country head rewards practice at professional services company, Merecer. After that, a short nine month stint at Universal music as VP – HR was followed by his time at Aditya Birla Group where he served as the group head rewards and benefits for more than half a decade.

    Novelis was his last stop before his tenure at Tata, where he started as the VP- group HR at Tata Sons in 2010. After spending five years in that role, he was elevated to senior VP – group HR for two years before being moved to TCP where he would spend the rest of his career at the group as global CHRO for the company.
