    BEML promotes Debi Prasad Satpathy to director-HR

    His association with BEML goes back to 2011, when he joined the company as assistant general manager

    Bharat Earth Movers ( BEML) has elevated Debi Prasad Satpathy as its new director-human resources. His selection by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel in March 2024 marks a significant milestone for the company.

    Satpathy, who previously served as the executive director-HR, BEML, has been instrumental in driving HR and CSR initiatives that have significantly enhanced the company’s growth and productivity. With over 30 years of experience in human resources and development across both Central and state Government sectors, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.

    His association with BEML goes back to 2011, when he joined the company as assistant general manager. In 2014, he was appointed as the deputy general manager-HR before he moved to Odisha Mining Corp. in 2017.

    Satpathy began his illustrious career as an executive trainee at the Nagaon Paper Mill of Hindustan Paper Corporation in Assam. Over the years, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and proficiency, progressing to the role of manager-HR within 15 years.

    Satpathy possesses a strong passion to lead and motivate people to deliver results, and is known for his strategic thinking and excellent project management skills. He is also an expert in strategic industrial relations, employee engagement, learning and development, talent acquisition, business development, employee engagement, change management, contract management general administration.

    A science graduate from Khallikote College, Berhampur, Satpathy has also earned a master’s degree in human resources management from the department of IR and PM.
