    Ex-HR head from Vodafone & Airtel, Jagdish B joins Niyo

    Neo-banking platform, Niyo has roped in Jagdish B as head-HR. Jagdish is a seasoned HR professional from the telecom sector, and has worked with Vodafone and Airtel in the past.

    In fact, he spent close to 12 years of his career with Vodafone. Prior to that, he was with Bharti Airtel as head- HR for Kerala circle.

    It was at Vodafone, that Jagdish grew up the ranks from circle HR head for Andhra Pradesh to Sr VP – HRBP. He joined the company in 2006.

    Jagdish, an alumnus of Madras School of Social Work and Loyola College Chennai, was also associated with a consultancy firm, Thinksynq Solutions for over three years before joining Niyo.

    At Niyo, Jagdish will focus mainly on organisation design, talent acquisition and management and building a strong performance culture.

    Niyo currently has an employee base of 500 of which half is engaged in technology, product and design.

    Vinay Bagri, co-founder & CEO, shares in an official communique, “Jagdish will help us further strengthen our employee-first endeavour. On-boarding the right talent and experience is the necessary multiplier for us to further tap the market potential, create value for our stakeholders and work towards becoming one of India’s leading financial services institutions.”

    Jagadish B, head- HR, Niyo, says that he was impressed with the Company’s core ideology of keeping people and teams at the centre of every business decision and that is what pulled him towards the Niyo.

    He also said that he is passionate about building a thriving company culture, and hence, is looking forward to contributing to the Company’s growth journey.
