    Gautam Saraf takes on CHRO role at Ferns N Petals

    The Indian gifting portal, Ferns N Petals, has announced the appointment of Gautam Saraf as its VP- chief human resources officer. In his new role, Saraf, who has an experience of more than two decades in the people business, will directly oversee the human resources function of the Company.

    An XLRI Jamshedpur passout, Saraf kicked off his career with McDonald’s in 2001. At the multinational American fast food giant, Saraf joined as a trainee manager and climbed up the ladder to head the people resources function in South India as the regional head people resource (HR and training) for the region.

    He moved on to Yum!Brands in 2010 and took up the role of regional manager – staffing, human resources. Saraf worked with Yum! for more than five years and was elevated to the position of head – corporate HR, C&B & centre of excellence, in 2015.

    His next assignment was to head the human resource function of South Asia for the outsourcing and technology services company, VFS Global, in 2016. He remained with VFS till 2017.

    Saraf then moved on to join Colorbar Cosmetics in 2017. There, Saraf worked as the head – HR for Godfrey Phillips India for their New Business Development vertical, managing the entire gamut of employee life cycle for the cosmetic company, Colorbar USA, 24Seven Retail Stores and Modicare Foundation.

    Elated to take up this new position at Ferns N Petals, Saraf says, “It is a reputed and momentous group to grow with and I am looking forward to taking hold of my role and building a long-term association with the FNP group”.
