    Lowe’s India appoints Mohith Mohan as senior director – HR

    Lowe’s India has announced the appointment of Mohith Mohan as the senior director for human resources in India.

    Mohan has move from Hudson’s Bay Company, where he was the divisional vice president and site leader, responsible for building business capability and India site strategy. In his new role at the Bengaluru-based retail technology, analytics and business operations centre for Lowe’s Companies Inc., Mohan will be responsible for change management, recruitment, workforce planning, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and performance management. He will also oversee the culture and diversity activities of the 2900+ strong workforce.

    Ankur Mittal, VP- technology & managing director, Lowe’s India, believes that Mohan “will continue to lead and foster a culture focused on attracting, retaining, and developing talent strategies.”

    Mohan himself is looking forward to being part of the “dynamic and diverse team” at Lowe’s. He will focus on “furthering the brand as well as enriching the employee experience” for the associates in India of this home improvement company serving approximately 18 million customers a week in the US and Canada.

    An experienced management professional specialising in organisational strategy, coaching, and building workplaces of the future, Mohan is backed by more than 17 years of diverse HR experience. Having dabbled in the financial, product, and retail industries, he has helped to build global capability centres (GCC) across various sectors.

    Mohan has successfully held various leadership positions in Fidelity Investments and Yahoo in the past. He possesses extensive global experience in designing career management frameworks, talent strategy, digitisation of employee experience, as well as organisation design.
