    Lt Col Alok Kumar Das appointed as CPO, Brinton Pharmaceuticals

    Army veteran, Lt Col Alok Kumar Das, has been appointed the chief people officer (CPO) at Brinton Pharmaceuticals. Das was earlier the vice president – human resources, at Visionet Systems.

    Known for his discipline, business savviness, storytelling prowess and analytical acumen, this alumnus of IIM-Indore, has over 18 years of leadership experience.

    Having spent over 15 years in the Army, Das was nominated Board member by the Government of India’s Ministry of Defence. He is a qualified personality assessor on individual behaviours of group / team dynamics / group effectiveness and an evaluator of personality profiles.

    Das worked with Cummins India (Tata Cummins) as DGM-HR, for over three years, from 2017 to 2020. There, he managed, designed and deployed complete key HR processes with integrated IR team and CLM for the entire cluster of two plants of Tata Cummins, with a headcount of over 1800, including junior managers, contract and full-time employees.

    A certified organisational development intervention professional, Das has a postgraduate certification in HR analytics from SHRM. He possesses an MCA degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology and also from the University of Pune.

    Being a former army officer, leadership does come naturally to him. Most of his ex-colleagues vouch for his open mindedness, problem-solving and solution-oriented approach, optimism, dependability, communication skills and approachability.

    A cricket, football and volleyball enthusiast, Das also possesses a certificate of proficiency in Portuguese language and literature, from Jawahar Lal Nehru University.
