    Manish Patil joins as director (human resources), ONGC

    Energy Maharatna Oil and Natural Gas Corporation  (ONGC) has named Manish Patil as its new director of HR. 

    Patil is a seasoned HR professional with a career spanning over three decades in energy. He has held many key positions in various functions like  operations and supplies, information systems, and management services related to human resources.

    Prior to joining ONGC, Patil has worked with IndianOil, a downstream Maharatna and Fortune 500 energy company. He was the regional HR head for the northern regional office and head of institutional business in the southern region at IndianOil. He also served as executive director of HR & CSR at the company’s corporate office.

    Patil did his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering at the government engineering college, Raipur. He holds an executive MBA degree from the University of Ljubljana, an advanced diploma in Cyber Laws from government law college, and a post graduate diploma in human resources management (HRM).

    Looking forward to start his new role, Patil expressed his enthusiasm and shared, “These are exciting times for the energy sector and I am eager to work alongside 26,000 plus energy soldiers of ONGC in the country.”
